Yanni’s – Charcuterie

This is an update to my review of  2011. Yanni’s continues to surprise me with their originality in sausage making. Recently, (Feb 8, 2012) I went for lunch and noticed a new addition. The Bandiera – aka Italian Christmas Sausage Sandwich ($6.75****) a pork sausage with sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil and mozzarella served on a grilled sweet Italian roll with Provolone cheese, grilled onions and sweet red bell pepper. This is a winner, all the way! Brought back by popular demand, (Yanni featured it during the month of December) now it is a prominent menu item. Check it out………Also worthy, Yanni’s thin-crust pizzas. A specialty is Uncle Wally ($12.50 small, $15.50 medium, $17.50 large ****) sweet Italian sausage, grilled onions and red bell peppers. Great flavor and texture. Get Thee to Yanni’s in Penngrove.
