Small but what a find! Right next door to the Penngrove Pub, Yanni’s makes hand-crafted, old-world sausages that are out of this world flavorful. For 2 years in a row, 2010 & 2011 Yanni’s was awarded “Best Charcuterie” at the Sonoma County Harvest Fair. This year, Yanni’s also won a Gold medal for their “Luganega” sausage and a Silver medal for “Thanksgiving in a Link” sausage. My personal favorite is the Limencello sausage. Yanni grills these pork masterpieces along with onions, red peppers and toasts a wonderful soft bun. OMG are they habit forming! But wait. There’s more! Check out Yanni’s Cheese Burger. It is probably the best cheese burger on the planet. The cheese is fried and it’s heaven, crispy and soft all at the same time. Get Thee to Yanni’s in Penngrove.
